The al-Nathm Center for Planning and Development at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine organized a specialized training workshop titled “Professional Commitment,” aimed at enhancing the ethical and occupational performance of the shrine’s dedicated servants.
The two-day workshop, conducted under the supervision of Sayed Sibtain al-Hussaini, was part of a broader educational and developmental initiative by the al-Nathm Center, designed to refine the skills and strengthen the professional values of the shrine’s workforce.
Enhancing Job Performance and Professional Conduct
In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Wisam Iskandar, Director of the al-Nathm Center, explained:
“The main objective of this program is to elevate job performance standards and improve professional behavior among the servants of the Holy Shrine, ensuring that the services rendered to pilgrims reflect the sanctity and reverence of this sacred place.”
The workshop covered several key themes, including the concept of occupational loyalty, its impact on organizational belonging, and ways to reinforce professional commitment. Participants from the Shrine’s Investment Department also engaged in applied discussions on sales management and service delivery, aiming to enhance service quality and strengthen communication with visitors and pilgrims.
Continuing Educational Efforts
Iskandar further noted that this workshop is part of a comprehensive training plan for the month of October, encompassing twelve sessions, each accommodating around twenty-five participants.

At the conclusion of the workshop, instructors underscored the importance of nurturing a culture of teamwork, along with values such as loyalty, dedication, and responsibility.
Such qualities, they stated, are vital to improving organizational performance, fostering institutional cohesion, and achieving excellence in serving the pilgrims of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
