A Visit of Reflection and Reverence
Members of the Turkish delegation expressed profound admiration for the tranquil and spiritual atmosphere of the Holy Shrine, describing the sense of peace and assurance that fills the hearts of all who enter this sacred sanctuary.
Karrar Shakir, Head of Internal Relations at the Holy Shrine, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“The delegation toured various departments of the Shrine and explored its unique historical and architectural features. They also visited the “al-Rawdah al-Haydariyah Library”, where they learned about the academic and research services it offers to scholars and students.”
Expanding Cultural and Academic Cooperation
Shakir further noted:
“The Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) consistently welcomes such delegations with the aim of deepening ties between the Shrine and academic and cultural institutions both within Iraq and abroad. The relevant departments are responsible for organizing these visits, ensuring warm hospitality, and presenting the Shrine’s rich religious heritage and architectural legacy to our esteemed guests.”
Appreciation for the Shrine’s Dedication to Service
Expressing his deep appreciation, Shaikh Ibrahim Sharan, head of the delegation and Jafari scholar from Istanbul, commended the efforts of the Shrine’s servants, saying:
“We have witnessed the remarkable dedication of the Shrine’s staff in serving pilgrims from diverse sects and nationalities. Their devotion and humility are truly inspiring. During this visit, I experienced a sense of peace and reassurance that I had never felt before — a feeling that reflects the paternal grace of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him). Indeed, as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: ‘O Ali, you and I are the fathers of this nation.’”
This visit stands as another testament to the Holy Shrine’s role as a center of knowledge, faith, and unity, fostering intercultural dialogue and extending the universal message of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) — a message of wisdom, compassion, and service to all humanity.
