Imam Ali Holy Shrine Announces Its Preparedness to Participate in the Iraq International Children’s Festival

The Muhsin Cultural Center for Children has launched the first podcast dedicated to children as part of its preparations for participation in the Iraq International Children’s Festival.

According to the Central News Unit of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, the Muhsin Cultural Center, affiliated with the Alawi Educational Committee of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, is preparing to participate in the fourth edition of the Iraq International Children’s Festival, held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds from 28 Jumada al‑Ula to 7 Jumada al‑Thani (November 19, 2025 CE to November 28, 2025 CE), upon the invitation of the Al-Huda Foundation.

Shubbar al-Tabatabaei, Head of Activities at the Center, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:

“All necessary arrangements for participation in this major cultural event have been completed. The Muhsin Cultural Center’s pavilion will be established over an area of 97 square meters and will feature six principal sections. These sections have been designed to present educational, cultural, and recreational activities for children and adolescents.”

He outlined the structure of the pavilion’s activities:
Publications Section: Dedicated to showcasing printed works produced specifically for children.
Young Reporter Section: Operated under the supervision of the Artistic Production Unit, featuring children interviewing one another, along with the center’s first children’s podcast titled “A Child Speaks with a Creative Child.”
Alawi Youth Section: Presenting the achievements of the “Alawi Youth” program, which aims to cultivate an aware and capable generation of future leaders, alongside printed materials and related educational content.
Faheem Section: A simple interactive laboratory enabling children to conduct scientific experiments from third- and fourth-grade science textbooks.
Koko Section: Offering puppet performances with an educational approach conveyed through indirect entertainment.
Interactive Digital Competition Section: Presenting an educational program for children modeled after “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” adapted for interactive participation.

He added:

“The pavilion will also include a digital art section, featuring a training workshop designed to teach the fundamentals of drawing using modern technologies under the supervision of specialists.”

The Head of Activities noted:

“The Engineering and Construction Department of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine has completed the pavilion’s design, while the Information Technology Department has prepared the digital competitions and all required technological infrastructure. Necessary coordination has also been completed with the Machinery Department to transport equipment and materials to the exhibition site in Baghdad.”

This participation aims to highlight the mission of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in supporting children, nurturing their abilities through modern tools, and transforming the Muhsin Cultural Center’s pavilion into a space for knowledge, interaction, and creativity.
