A delegation representing the Media Department, the al-Nathm Center for Strategic Planning and Development, and the Public Relations Department of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine visited several universities and educational institutions in the Governorate of Najaf al-Ashraf.
This visit aimed to broaden cooperation and ensure the necessary coordination for implementing the Shrine’s programs within the framework of “Modesty Week,” particularly the “My Hijab” Festival, which will be held in the near future.
Jafar al-Badiri, administrative deputy of the media department, explained to Shrine’s News Center:
“This visit comes as part of the preparations for ‘Modesty Week,’ organized by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The purpose of this coordination is to convey the message of this occasion and introduce its most significant programs, foremost among them the ‘My Hijab’ Festival—a celebration honoring university students who have chosen the chador within the academic environment as an expression of modesty, hijab, and ethical conduct.”
It is noteworthy that during its previous edition, the “My Hijab” Festival honored thousands of students through the presentation of the Fatimi Hijab. The event was held at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine as well as in several universities across Iraq.
