The Dar al-Quran, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, organized this Quranic assembly in the holy courtyard. The event formed one of the programs of the eighteenth annual “Chastity” Festival, held in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
Ala Muhsin, Director of the Shrine’s Dar al-Quran, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s Media Center:
“The Quranic gathering was held in the sacred Alawi courtyard with the participation of several distinguished reciters, including Jalal al-Bahadli, as well as eulogists Ala al-Karbalaei and Taqi Shukri. The program featured various segments, the most notable of which was the offering of gifts and awards to pilgrims by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine.”
He added that the annual “Hijab” Festival comprises a wide range of programs held over the course of an entire week. These include the annual Religious Maturity Festival, the “My Veil” celebration, special programs dedicated to women, cultural and social activities, and children’s programming, with the participation of diverse segments of society.
