The Shrine reported that implementation of this comprehensive plan for “The Born Inside Kaaba” has commenced, coinciding with the auspicious anniversary of the birth of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him). The announcement was made during a meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayed Isa al-Khirsan, with the attendance of the members of the Board of Directors.
Wisam Iskandar, Head of the Unified System Center for Strategic Planning and Development, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s Media Center:
“In this meeting, all organizational preparations pertaining to the week-long program were reviewed, including planning for ceremonies and diverse activities, as well as identifying the needs of departments and units in order to perform their assigned responsibilities.”
He explained that the program has been categorized according to target audiences to ensure that, in addition to various sectors of society, international groups are also encompassed. This reflects the global dimension of this occasion and reinforces the role of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine as a religious and cultural hub.
Inauguration of Key Projects
Iskandar added:
“During the meeting, the Custodian of the Holy Shrine and the Board of Directors formally approved the plan and confirmed their agreement to launch its implementation according to the established timeline. Additionally, a set of major projects scheduled for inauguration coinciding with this week’s activities were reviewed, and all technical and executive details were discussed.”
In conclusion, the Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine called upon all departments and administrative units to ensure full readiness and to prepare the environment for holding the celebrations of the birth anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), within the framework of “The Born Inside Kaaba.” These programs will combine both the spiritual commemoration of this sacred occasion and the organized provision of services.
