The Dar al-Quran for Women , affiliated with the Holy Alawi Shrine, held an honoring ceremony to celebrate the ninth group of Holy Quran memorizers who completed their studies. The Women’s community programs at Dar al-Quran use this ceremony as part of their ongoing efforts to establish Quranic culture among women.
The Director of the Dar al-Quran for Women, Ms. Dalal al-Tabatabai, stated in an interview with the News Center:
“The organization of this honoring ceremony reflects the Holy Alawi Shrine’s dedication to supporting Muslim women in Quranic and intellectual fields. This support plays an effective role in nurturing a well-informed generation that chooses the Holy Quran as their way of life and guiding light.”
She added:
“In this ceremony, 23 memorizers of the Holy Quran from various provinces of Iraq, along with a number of memorizers from outside the country, graduated. The ceremony also included diverse devotional and intellectual segments, the most important of which were the spiritual and ethical discourses delivered by Sayed Jafar al-Murawij and the Quranic recitations presented by the students, which clearly demonstrated the participants’ high level of memorization and mastery.”
