Diverse and Purposeful Activities

Dr. Murtadha al-Khuzaei, director of the program, explained to the Shrine’s News Center:

“The al-Muhsin Center for Children’s Culture, affiliated with the Imam Ali Educational Committee, held the second edition of the ‘Imam Ali Youth’ program in the Imam al-Hasan Township, focusing on skill development. It was directed to the children of employees of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in the age group of 15 to 17.”

He added:

“The program was not confined to lectures, but also incorporated engaging activities, educational games, and skill-building exercises infused with enthusiasm and creativity. These activities helped protect the youth from the adverse effects of excessive use of electronic devices, while granting them positive energy and new practical skills.”

A Comprehensive Educational Camp

Al-Khuzaei further explained:

“The Imam Ali Holy Shrine organized this initiative as a ten-day camp, gathering a group of adolescents and young adults with the aim of enhancing their abilities through targeted lessons and practical workshops. The workshops combined educational, awareness-raising, and religious sessions, while also offering classes in computer skills, handicrafts, and artistic activities to cultivate their talents.”

More than Fifty Developmental Activities

He continued:

“The camp included more than fifty developmental, educational, athletic, and recreational activities designed to strengthen balanced character formation, teamwork, and a sense of belonging among the youth. What sets the ‘Imam Ali Youth’ project apart is its continuity: after the camp concludes, engagement with participants persists through weekly and monthly meetings, as well as ongoing workshops, recreational programs, and educational trips, all structured within a comprehensive plan.”

Al-Khuzaei concluded by attributing the success of the program to the combined efforts of all departments of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, ranging from procurement, storage, and investment to media and various service divisions. It is worth noting that the Holy Shrine consistently strives to guide the younger generation toward the proper use of their energy and talents, fostering a generation that is conscious, committed to society, and capable of building the future of their country.
