The wife of the revered Shia authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali al-Sistani (may his shadow be prolonged), has passed away.
“The late noble lady, daughter of Ayatollah Sayed Mirza Hasan and granddaughter of the eminent scholar Sayed Muhammad Hasan al-Shirazi (may Allah sanctify their souls), departed this world and returned to the mercy of the Almighty.
Her funeral was held on Monday, the 6th of Rabei Al-Thani, at 9 a.m. from Shaikh al-Tusi Mosque in Najaf. She was then laid to rest. Condolence gatherings will be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings after Maghrib and Isha prayers at the Khadhra Mosque.”
