The Mohsen Children’s Cultural Center participated in the Karbala International Children’s Book Fair with a variety of educational and entertaining activities designed for children.
Affiliated with the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, the Mohsen Children’s Cultural Center took part in the 7th Karbala International Children’s Book Fair, organized by the administration of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. The Center presented a wide range of creative, educational, and developmental programs tailored specifically for young visitors.
Daily Educational and Recreational Activities
The head of the activities unit at the Center, Shubbar Al-Tabatabai, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“Throughout the seven-day exhibition, the Center hosted a variety of interactive contests for children, along with puppet shows (Koko), a favorite among younger audiences. The Center also contributed to the Faheem Laboratory, which aims to simplify science lessons for third- and fourth-grade students through hands-on experiments in physics and chemistry.”
Educational and Moral Messages
Al-Tabatabai added:
“These performances carried educational and moral messages presented in a simple, modern way, avoiding traditional methods. Through joy, creativity, and direct interaction, the activities succeeded in embedding social and human values within the minds of children.”
He further explained that the Center’s programs received a remarkable level of engagement and enthusiastic participation from visitors of all ages.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that this exhibition represents part of a broader series of initiatives dedicated to enhancing children’s cultural awareness and creating an environment that unites learning with entertainment.
