Coinciding with the start of the new school year, the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) Center, in support of orphans and the needy, began distributing clothing and school supplies among orphaned children. This measure is carried out within the framework of the supportive programs of the Holy Alawi Shrine for this group.
Adel Jamali, head of the center, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“In line with the paternal support of the Holy Alawi Shrine for various segments of society, clothing, school supplies, and various necessities needed by them for the new school year were distributed among approximately 10,000 orphaned and needy children, both boys and girls.”
He added:
“This project included providing school clothes, stationery, and other essential necessities. Efforts were also made to select high-quality items to meet the needs of our orphaned children and provide them with the necessary facilities for the start of the new school year.”
This measure was carried out in line with the support of the Holy Alawi Shrine for orphans and needy and low-income families; a measure that helps reduce the financial burden on these families and supports their children and orphaned children to continue their educational path.
