The Religious Affairs Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine, in cooperation with the Information Technology Department, held a virtual draw to announce the winners of the competition. The competition was held as part of the “Al-Sadiqin” Week programs and drew more than 10,000 participants from inside and outside Iraq.
Sheikh Hani al-Kanani, Head of the PR Section in the Religious Affairs Department, told the Shrine’s news center:
“The number of participants in the competition exceeded 10,000, and more than 1,000 of them achieved full marks. A virtual draw was then held to select more than 93 winners. The first-place winner received a trip for an Umrah Mufrada and a pilgrimage to the House of God. The second-place prize was an electronic tablet, and the third-place winner received a cash prize. The remaining winners received blessed gifts from the Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him) Guesthouse, along with marble plaques from the holy Alawi shrine.”
The draw took place at the Information Technology Department, in the presence of a number of officials and staff from the Religious Affairs Department and the Information Technology Center.
