Appreciation for the Efforts of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in Organizing the Naini Conference

The efforts of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in organizing the conference honoring the scholarly legacy of Researcher Naini (may his soul be sanctified) were formally recognized.

A delegation from the Seminary of Qom praised the academic caliber and organizational excellence of the international conference dedicated to the commemoration of Mirza Shaikh Muhammad-Hussain Naini, affirming that holding such an event in Najaf al-Ashraf reflects the commitment of the Islamic seminaries to reviving the profound heritage of scholars and reformers.

 

The Director of the Seminaries of Qom, Shaikh Alireza Arafi, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s media center:

“The personality of Mirza Naini remains one of the essential pillars within the curriculum and educational framework of the seminary. His intellectual and reformative perspectives constitute a vital resource for addressing the challenges of the contemporary era.”

 

He also expressed appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine and the Imam al-Hussain Holy Shrine in preparing for and ensuring the success of this conference.

Moreover, Hujjat al-Islam Shaikh Jafar Naini, the grandson of Allamah Naini, thanked the Eminent Religious Authority in Najaf al-Ashraf and the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, noting that the participation of distinguished scholars in such a conference contributes to strengthening the ties between seminaries and reviving the scholarly legacy of Allamah Naini.

The participating delegation emphasized that attending this conference provided a valuable opportunity for academic engagement and the exchange of perspectives between the Seminary of Najaf and the Seminary of Qom—an effort that reinforces the scholarly trajectory of the scholars and highlights their role in shaping the intellectual movement of Islam.
