As part of the celebrations honoring the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her), coinciding with the observance of the Week of Hijab, the Decoration Unit of the Holy Shrine undertook the installation of ornamental symbols and floral arrangements throughout the precincts of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine.
Barq Hadi, Head of the Decoration Unit, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“This year’s celebration program includes the installation of floral crowns in the porticos and arcades of the holy sanctuary, featuring over 11,000 natural flowers. The unit has also completed the preparation of decorative symbols in the porticos of the Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her) Courtyard. In addition, special visual arrangements have been provided for the Week of Hijab and its associated activities within the Holy Shrine, enhancing the beauty and grandeur of this significant occasion.”
He further explained:
“These activities are part of a comprehensive program undertaken by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine to commemorate this blessed event, creating a spiritual environment worthy of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her) and promoting the values of chastity throughout the city of Najaf al-Ashraf.”
