The twelfth “Religious Maturity Festival,” regarded as one of the major events of Hijab Week, is currently in its final stages of preparation. This festival is dedicated to honoring young girls who have reached the age of religious responsibility (taklif) and who will don the crown of religious maturity within the spiritually uplifting atmosphere of the sanctuary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
Haider Rahim, Head of the Media Department, told the Shrine’s News Center:
“A meeting was held today with the attendance of all relevant departments, chaired by Board Member Haider Al-Isawi, and with the participation of representatives from the Security, Public Relations, Order Management Center, Services, and Media departments. The meeting focused on developing precise mechanisms to ensure full coordination among all departments, thereby guaranteeing the successful and dignified organization of the ceremony.”
Haider Rahim further stated:
“This festival represents an important educational milestone, during which young girls who have entered the stage of religious responsibility are honored in a spiritual setting that reinforces religious awareness and Islamic values.”
The Head of the Media Department also emphasized:
“Continuous cooperation among departments and the execution of the program in accordance with the unified plan will ensure that this ceremony is held in a manner befitting the sanctity of this holy site.”
These programs are part of a series of events prepared by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine to commemorate this blessed occasion. Designed to create an atmosphere that reflects the esteemed status of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and to promote values such as modesty and loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), the initiatives include more than twenty-one diverse activities to be held in celebration of her noble birth.
