Outstanding Quranic Students Meet with the Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine

The Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine held a cordial meeting with outstanding students from the Quranic Education Unit in a warm and spiritually enriching atmosphere.

The meeting was organized by the Dar al-Quran of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

In a statement to the Shrine’s Media Center, Ala Muhsin, Head of the Dar al-Quran, explained:

“During this meeting, the progress and performance of 120 outstanding students were reviewed. These students have demonstrated consistent commitment over two consecutive years of participation in Quranic programs. The educational programs included specialized classes in proper Quranic recitation, group recitation, and religious chants, as well as memorization of selected chapters of the Holy Quran.”

He further noted:

“These programs aim to develop Quranic competencies and nurture emerging talents among children. This educational and formative project will continue for the next two years, in line with the Dar al-Quran’s vision to cultivate a knowledgeable and capable generation grounded in Quranic values.”

For his part, Amir al-Kassar, instructor of the Quranic program, stated:

“This meeting represented a profound and impactful spiritual experience for the students enrolled in the Quranic Talent Program. The event included diverse activities, such as listening to recitations by distinguished Quran reciters from across the Islamic world, as well as the presentation of religious chants and supplications in harmony with the spiritual significance of the occasion.”

This meeting was held within the framework of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine’s continued commitment to supporting Quranic and educational initiatives and nurturing emerging talents—an effort that strengthens the connection of younger generations with the Holy Quran and the values of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from an early age.
