Imam Ali Holy Shrine Honors the Engineering Team Behind the Courtyard of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra Project

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine honored the engineering team responsible for the implementation of the Courtyard of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) project, recognizing their outstanding contributions to one of the most significant architectural achievements at the Holy Shrines.

The ceremony honored the engineering staff and employees of the Iranian Kawthar Company, along with their families, who took part in the reconstruction of the Holy Shrines and the execution of the Courtyard of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) project. The event was held within the framework of the Week of Modesty programs and was attended by the Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayed Isa Al-Khirsan, alongside a number of religious, seminary, and political figures, as well as officials from the Engineering and Construction Affairs Department and the al-Nathm Center of the Strategic Planning and Development Unit.

In his address, the Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine extended his congratulations to the attendees on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and commended the dedicated efforts of the engineering and construction teams in bringing this unique architectural masterpiece to fruition. He emphasized that the project stands among the most distinguished and exceptional undertakings in terms of design and execution, made possible through the participation of multiple entities and realized through a spirit of teamwork and institutional synergy.

For his part, Hassan Bolarak, CEO of Kawthar Company, expressed his appreciation for the continuous support of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine and the facilities it provided, noting that such support played a decisive role in overcoming challenges faced by the executive teams and in accelerating the completion of the Courtyard of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) project.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine presented certificates of appreciation to the engineers and staff involved in the project, in recognition of their dedication, sincerity, and service to this blessed endeavor.

Covering an area of more than 60,000 square meters, the Courtyard of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) represents a major strategic addition to the infrastructure of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine. By providing expansive spaces and integrated services, it plays a vital role in accommodating the growing number of visitors, facilitating movement, and enhancing the comfort of pilgrims, particularly during million-person pilgrimage occasions.
