Over One Million Natural Flowers Prepared for the Decoration of the Holy Shrine of Amir Al-Muminin

On the occasion of the blessed anniversary of the birth of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali has completed preparations for the use of more than one million natural flowers to adorn the sacred sanctuary.

The Decoration Unit of the Holy Alawi Shrine announced that more than 1.5 million natural flower stems have been prepared as part of the special arrangements marking the anniversary of the birth of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), in conjunction with the programs of “The Born Inside Kaaba” Week.

Barq Hadi, a servant in the Shrine’s Decoration Unit, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s Media Center that the natural flowers will be used to decorate the sacred shrine enclosure, the entrance of the Golden Iwan, and a number of the holy arcades. He added that a portion of these flowers will also be distributed among visitors on the night and day of the blessed birth anniversary.

He further noted that the unit’s teams have begun decorating other holy shrines and sacred sites across several Iraqi provinces with thousands of natural flowers as a means of seeking blessings on this auspicious occasion and in a manner befitting the lofty status of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) and the immensity of this blessed commemoration.

These efforts form part of a comprehensive set of programs prepared by the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin to honor and celebrate the anniversary of the blessed birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), reflecting the Shrine’s commitment to upholding the spiritual, aesthetic, and symbolic dimensions of this sacred occasion.
