The engineering staff, under the supervision of the Engineering and Construction Affairs Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine, have begun development works on the access routes of the Rasul Street interchange. This initiative is being carried out within the framework of a service project aimed at improving infrastructure and facilitating the movement of pilgrims in the area.
Engineer Mohammed Riyadh, one of the project supervisors, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“Construction works are currently continuing until late night hours. The present phase includes leveling operations, soil preparation, and readying the site for the application of the ‘sub-base’ layer. This will be followed by decorative and finishing works consistent with the nature and characteristics of the site.”
He added:
“Given the large number of pilgrims entering the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), it is essential that the pace of work be accelerated while maintaining the highest quality standards. The engineering teams are exerting their utmost efforts to complete the project in accordance with the specified timelines.”
These works are part of a broader set of projects being implemented by the Holy Alawi Shrine with the aim of enhancing service provision and developing the spaces and facilities surrounding the Holy Alawi Shrine.
