Imam Ali Holy Shrine Holds Graduation Ceremony for Quranic Studies Students

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine held a graduation ceremony for 42 students who completed two specialized programs in Quranic studies.

The Dar al-Quran, affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, concluded two specialized Quranic programs as part of its educational activities. The programs were designed to promote Quranic culture and enhance participants’ proficiency in Quranic recitation and performance.

Theoretical and Practical Instruction

In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Ala Muhsin, Head of the Dar al-Quran Unit, said:

“The first program focused on correct recitation and the rules of Tajwid. Following intensive theoretical and practical instruction, 30 students successfully completed the course.”

He added:

“The second program was dedicated to Quranic melodic modes and attracted students seeking to develop their vocal and recitational performance. Twelve students graduated from this program, bringing the total number of graduates from both courses to 42.”

Graduation Ceremony

Mr. Ala Muhsin explained that both programs were conducted over a continuous two-month period and concluded with a central graduation ceremony held at the Dar al-Quran—particularly within the Quranic Education Unit—attended by teaching staff and a number of shrine servants.

It is worth noting that these programs are part of the Dar al-Quran’s strategic vision at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine to support young people and nurture their talents, contributing meaningfully to service of the Holy Quran and the wider dissemination of its teachings within society.
