In cooperation with the local office of the Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) Center for the Care of Orphans and the Needy, the Holy Shrine launched the distribution of Ramadan food baskets to eligible families registered with the Center. The initiative covers more than 3,000 food baskets.
Speaking to the Holy Shrine’s Central News Unit, Karrar Al-Tamimi, Head of the Center, stated:
“The distribution process has begun for more than 3,000 families registered in the Center’s database, across the geographical area of Najaf Al-Ashraf and its affiliated districts and subdistricts.”
He added:
“Each food basket contains a variety of essential food items. The distribution is being carried out according to an organized, step-by-step operational plan to ensure that the assistance reaches those who are rightfully entitled to receive it.”
This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine to social solidarity and charitable service, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan.
