A prominent feature of this participation was the involvement of the Ameen Center for Research and Advanced Biotechnology, a specialized unit within Al-Rasul Al-Aیاam Medical Center. The Center provided advanced research and medical services to postgraduate students, researchers, and patients, highlighting its scientific and clinical capabilities.
In a statement to the Shrine’s Media Center, Dr. Nufel Al-Dujaili, Director of the Ameen Center, explained,
“This participation created a valuable opportunity for master’s and doctoral students to advance their scientific research and to conduct biological and medical tests for both patients and researchers. The Center also presented its research findings and scientific achievements during the festival.”
He further noted that during this period, the Center received nearly 5,000 postgraduate students and supported numerous research projects in cooperation with local and international universities. In addition, it organized a series of specialized seminars and workshops focused on health awareness, as well as training programs in first aid and emergency evacuation procedures—particularly in preparation for major religious occasions.
The participation of Al-Rasul al-Adham Medical Center forms part of the broader and well-coordinated presence of the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin at exhibitions and specialized events.
Through its various departments and centers, the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin not only delivers scientific, medical, and research services but also introduces its developmental initiatives and service projects to the wider community, thereby strengthening its engagement with diverse segments of society.
