During its annual conference, attended by Deputy Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayed Isa al-Khirsan, his assistant, members of the Board of Directors, department heads, as well as officials from various divisions and units, the Media Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine presented and reviewed its accomplishments for the year 2025.
This conference was held within the framework of performance evaluation and examining indicators of growth and development across social media platforms.
In his remarks, Deputy Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine commended the efforts exerted by the media personnel and expressed gratitude for their continuous dedication in conveying the message of the Holy Shrine. He wished them ever-increasing success and achievement in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them, in a manner commensurate with the great importance of the mission of serving the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its noble visitors.
Mr. Haider Rahim, Director of the Media Department, in his opening address at this conference-held for the second consecutive year—detailed the volume of activities and the accomplishments achieved across the department’s various sections. He highlighted the significant qualitative leap of the social media platforms in the year 2025, resulting from the efforts and expertise of the department’s staff, particularly in the field of digital platform management.
He further emphasized that a number of television networks have benefited from the department’s successful media experiences, indicating the leading position of the Holy Alawi Shrine and its pioneering role in utilizing modern media tools.
In another segment of the program, an analysis was presented by Mujtaba al-Safi, head of the Monitoring and Analysis Team of the Broadcast and Publishing Unit.
This report included a statistical analysis of indicators pertaining to the Holy Alawi Shrine’s social media presence in the year 2025. It was prepared following the deployment of advanced and specialized technologies in the field of monitoring and analysis, including “social listening” tools. This has played an effective role in keeping pace with modern digital trends and strengthening the influential presence of the Holy Alawi Shrine in cyberspace.
The conference closed its proceedings by recognizing Media Department officials from different divisions and units for their exceptional work during the past year which included documenting all significant events related to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him). Deputy Custodian of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayed Isa al-Khirsan, demonstrates his commitment to media development through this initiative which aims to foster greater creative and excellent achievements among media professionals.
