The Dar al-Quran of the Holy Alawi Shrine has announced the launch of a special Quranic program for the holy month of Ramadan.

These Quranic programs consist of a series of complete recitations (khatms) of the Holy Quran and Ramadan gatherings, held with broad participation of reciters and young children, with a total of 470 participants.

Ala Muhsen, head of the Dar al-Quran unit, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:

“This program includes two complete recitations and one Ramadan Quranic gathering, held in total with the participation of 100 reciters in an atmosphere filled with spirituality. Its aim is to strengthen the bond with the Holy Quran during the blessed month of Ramadan.”

He added,

“A special recitation for children is also held with the participation of 120 young children, aimed at supporting emerging Quranic talents and nurturing their recitation skills.”

Regarding the women’s program, he further explained,

“In this section, three complete recitations of the Holy Quran are held with the participation of 90 female reciters. In addition, one special recitation for female children is planned with the presence of 120 young female reciters. Furthermore, to expand the scope of participation, four virtual recitations and ten recitations outside the Holy Alawi Shrine will be held with the participation of 40 female reciters in order to support the dynamism of Quranic activities beyond the Shrine’s premises.”

This program is implemented within the framework of a comprehensive plan to revive the nights of the blessed month of Ramadan with the Holy Quran and to instill Quranic culture in society and among various segments of the community.
