Ramadan Quranic Programs for Young Girls at the Holy Alawi Shrine

The Women’s Dar al-Quran at the Holy Alawi Shrine is marking the blessed month of Ramadan with special Quranic programs dedicated to young girls.

The Women’s Dar al-Quran, affiliated with the Holy Alawi Shrine, is continuing the implementation of its special Ramadan program for the early childhood age group.

This program is held through the organization of a daily completion (khatm) of the Holy Quran, with the aim of strengthening familiarity with the Book of God and developing recitation and memorization skills in an educational and faith-based environment appropriate to the participants’ age, thereby reinforcing their bond with the Holy Quran.

The head of this Center, Mrs. Dalal al-Tabatabai, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s news center:

“A competition entitled ‘The Best of Creatures’ is being held in the field of memorization and exegesis of Surah al-Bayyinah, specifically for girls aged 6 to 13 years. This competition will be held remotely via the ‘Telegram’ messaging application and will cover such areas as memorization, interpretation of vocabulary, and the rulings of recitation. The date set for this program is the fifteenth of the blessed month of Ramadan.”

She emphasized that the special programs for young girls constitute an early investment in Quranic education, combining upbringing and skills training and contributing to the discovery and nurturing of emerging talents. She added that these activities embody the mission of this center to raise a Quranic generation and to instill faith-based values in their hearts from early childhood.

This program is being held within the framework of a range of Ramadan activities that the center organizes every year with the aim of strengthening the path of Quranic education and increasing the presence of girls in specialized and purposeful gatherings and programs.
