The department announced the successful execution of this media plan, which featured extensive and comprehensive coverage across visual, audio, and written media platforms.
The Head of the Media Department at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Haider Rahim, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“This department implemented a comprehensive media strategy through the Imam Ali Holy Shrine’s satellite network, radio broadcasting, and digital platforms. The coverage included live transmissions of Qur’anic recitations, supplications, mourning gatherings, and various Ramadan programs. In addition, numerous news and visual reports were produced and published to reflect the spiritual atmosphere of the Nights of Qadr and the commemorative ceremonies marking the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).”
He added:
“The department’s staff worked around the clock across multiple divisions—from field coverage and live broadcasting to editorial and production activities. The department was also responsible for managing digital content across social media platforms and the screens installed within the sacred shrine and throughout Najaf. Nearly ninety media institutions—including television networks, news agencies, holy shrine media outlets, and content producers—participated in implementing this media coverage.”
He further explained that the media coverage was not limited to Najaf alone, but also extended to Ramadan programs and service initiatives outside the province—particularly the activities of the Guesthouse of Pilgrims and the iftar banquets organized in several provinces and regions. These initiatives were documented by the department and shared with audiences inside and outside Iraq.
He concluded by emphasizing that the coordination and cooperation among the department’s media and support units played a vital role in strengthening the media presence in a manner befitting the significance of the occasion. This effort helped convey scenes of the spiritual atmosphere and services of the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) to audiences around the world.
