On the night of the martyrdom of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), amidst the vast crowds of pilgrims, mourning processions gathered one after another in the vicinity of the Holy Alawi Shrine, mourning for Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) with melodies of lamentation and chest-beating.
