The Planning and Development Center of the Holy Alawi Shrine has launched a special electronic form to measure the level of pilgrim satisfaction during the pilgrimage days marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
The aim of this initiative is to evaluate the services provided and enhance their quality in proportion to the high volume of pilgrims visiting the Holy Alawi Shrine.
In an interview with the Shrine’s News Center, the head of the Quality and Evaluation Unit, Mohammed Qasim, stated:
“The Planning and Statistics Department team has prepared forms to measure pilgrim satisfaction around the Holy Alawi Shrine, particularly in the Bab al-Qibla courtyard. These forms are filled out electronically on internet-connected tablets, and the data is linked to an online system for collection and analysis.”
He added:
“The form includes a set of questions covering various aspects of services and organization, including the service sector, the security aspect related to the safety of pilgrims and their smooth movement within the Holy Shrine’s courtyard, as well as the guidance and information sector pertaining to centers for missing persons.”
M.Qasim continued:
“The form also includes questions regarding catering services and the quality of meals in the pilgrims’ guesthouse and surrounding processions, as well as an evaluation of the level of cleanliness within the Holy Alawi Shrine precincts. The form consists of 10 questions which the pilgrim answers by selecting the appropriate option; the data is then comprehensively analyzed, and a detailed report with results and recommendations is prepared.”
He concluded by noting:
“The final results of this evaluation will be presented to the Secretariat of the Holy Alawi Shrine so that necessary decisions can be made to improve the level of services for pilgrims in future highly crowded pilgrimages.”
