Provision of Services and Accommodation for Pilgrims during the Martyrdom Days of Amir al-Muminin by the Holy Alawi Shrine

The Holy Alawi Shrine prepared seven halls with a total area of 8,706 square meters to host pilgrims on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).

The Holy Alawi Shrine announced the completion of a series of service preparations in Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) city, specifically for pilgrim rest in the Al-Hawli area. These measures are part of the shrine’s program to host the vast crowds of pilgrims visiting Najaf al-Ashraf during the martyrdom anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).

The official in charge of the Service Affairs Department, Zaid al-Khirsan, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center, “This program includes the preparation of a large indoor hall in Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) settlement to provide rest for pilgrims and create a suitable space for their presence during the ceremonies.”

He added:

“Subsequently, seven other halls with a total area of 5,740 square meters were also prepared to accommodate a larger number of pilgrims and provide optimal services.”

Al-Khirsan also clarified:

“Service personnel inside the city have laid carpets over an area of 8,706 square meters to provide appropriate spaces for sitting and resting for pilgrims visiting Najaf al-Ashraf from various provinces.”

He concluded by noting:

“These measures are part of a series of programs by the Holy Alawi Shrine to ensure the best welfare and service facilities for pilgrims and to provide a peaceful and organized atmosphere for the observance of the martyrdom anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).”
