Imam Ali Holy Shrine Launches Comprehensive Service Plan for Eid al-Fitr

A total of 1,100 volunteer servants have been mobilized to enhance services for pilgrims at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine during Eid al-Fitr.

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has begun full-scale preparations to the blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr, implementing a comprehensive service plan through the coordinated efforts of its various departments. The initiative aims to provide optimal services to pilgrims visiting the shrine of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

Ahmad al-Zurqani, head of the “Qanbar” Volunteer Servants Center, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s Media Center:

“The number of participants in this year’s service plan has reached 1,100 volunteer servants, whose duties will commence from the night marking the sighting of the crescent of Shawwal, within the framework of an integrated service program.”

He added:

“Volunteer teams have been deployed across key operational sectors, including security, service units, the guesthouse, and the women’s affairs department. In addition, the Rasul al-Adham Medical Center has been fully activated to provide first aid and emergency medical support when needed.”

Al-Zurqani further noted that the initiative brings together volunteers from multiple provinces across Iraq, representing a diverse range of professional expertise. These include medical personnel, tradespeople, and skilled workers, ensuring the delivery of coordinated and responsive services aligned with the needs of pilgrims during the Eid period.

The implementation of the plan began on the night of the Shawwal crescent sighting and will continue throughout the days of Eid, with the objective of maintaining a safe, organized, and spiritually conducive environment for visitors.
