The visit aimed to familiarize the guest with the most prominent scholarly and research achievements presented by the Alawi Center.
Shaykh Salam al-Nasiri, head of the center, stated in an interview with the News Center:
“The visit included a detailed presentation on the activities of the Alawi Center, its scholarly projects, and its specialized departments. The center’s ongoing projects in the fields of manuscript verification and Islamic studies were also introduced.”
Al-Nasiri added:
“Shaykh Qays al-Attar expressed his appreciation for the scholarly precision and academic rigor demonstrated by the center in the verification of manuscripts, and praised the efforts made to present academic works in a solid and methodical scholarly format.”
The guest also toured the publications issued by the Alawi Center, including the specialized journal Makhtutatuna dedicated to manuscript studies, and Al-Nahj, a journal focused on academic research and university studies. This comes within the framework of strengthening scholarly specialization and advancing the movement of research and academic inquiry.
