The Holy Alawi Shrine, represented by the Pilgrims’ Guesthouse Department, has opened the “Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)” Reception Center to serve Arbaeen pilgrims.
This move coincides with the large-scale presence of pilgrims arriving in holy Najaf before setting out toward holy Karbala to take part in the Arbaeen march.
Sajjad Nabil, the center’s supervisor, told the Shrine’s News Center:
“A group of servants from the Holy Shrine’s various departments have the honor of preparing and distributing the meals. This center prepares and distributes more than 20,000 blessed meals daily across three sittings—breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”
He emphasized:
“The number of meals provided at each of the three sittings can be increased depending on the number of pilgrims.”
He also noted that the center will continue serving pilgrims and distributing meals until the twentieth day of the month of Safar.
It is worth noting that these efforts are being carried out within the framework of the Holy Alawi Shrine’s comprehensive plan to welcome Arbaeen pilgrims—a plan in which all the human, technical, and service resources of the shrine’s various departments are being employed to provide the best possible services to millions of pilgrims.
