The Holy Alawi Shrine, as part of implementing its special services plan for the days of Arbaeen al-Hussaini, continues to support its various departments by deploying thousands of honorary servants.
This effort is being carried out within a coherent and organized program, in step with the growing number of pilgrims, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of services throughout the days of Arbaeen.
On Standby Since the Start of Safar
Ahmad al-Zurkani, supervisor of the “Qanbar” Center for Honorary Servants at the Holy Alawi Shrine, stated:
“By order of the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine and in coordination with the Arbaeen Operations Room, this center began implementing its workforce-provision plan for the shrine’s various departments from the very first day of the blessed month of Safar. This step was taken as part of early preparations to welcome pilgrims.”
Distribution of Personnel by Specialization
He added:
“The number of honorary servants has gradually increased in line with the actual needs of the departments, and more than 4,000 honorary servants are now working at various service centers. These personnel are organized according to the specialization, capability, and skills suited to the duties of each department. A seven-day rotation system has also been put in place for them, whereby a new group replaces the previous one every seven days, ensuring both the continuity of services and the quality and efficiency of performance throughout the days of Arbaeen.”
Support for Vital Departments
Al-Zurkani noted:
“The Qanbar Center will continue supporting the departments bearing the greatest volume of service delivery until the end of the Arbaeen ceremonies, foremost among them the Pilgrims’ Guesthouse Department, the Services Affairs Department, and the Order-Keeping Department. This center also, in coordination with the ‘Order’ Center of the Holy Alawi Shrine’s Training and Capacity-Building Unit, provides medical staff and emergency response and evacuation teams to support the Rasul al-A’zam Medical Center, so that the process of serving millions of pilgrims continues in an orderly manner and with the desired level of quality.”
It is worth noting that the Holy Alawi Shrine has, for some time now, mobilized all of its human, technical, and service capacities as part of a comprehensive plan to welcome the Arbaeen pilgrims coming to visit Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) , in order to provide the best possible services to millions of pilgrims.
