The Services Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine has equipped three central locations to serve as deposit centers for children’s strollers and wheelchairs for people with special needs, in order to ease pilgrims’ movement around the Holy Alawi Shrine and facilitate smoother entry and exit during the days of Arbaeen.
Maytham Eidan Kashoush, head of the Amanat Department, told the News Center:
“This department has designated three main locations around the Holy Alawi Shrine for the deposit and safekeeping of children’s strollers and wheelchairs for people with special needs. The combined capacity of these centers is close to one thousand units, and this measure plays an important role in easing pilgrims’ movement and providing them with better services.”
He added:
“These centers operate according to an organized system that ensures the safekeeping of items as well as easy deposit and retrieval, and are carried out as part of the Holy Alawi Shrine’s comprehensive service program for serving the pilgrims of the shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).”
It is worth noting that the Holy Alawi Shrine continues to implement its comprehensive service, security, and health program for the Arbaeen pilgrimage—a program designed and carried out with the aim of serving the millions of pilgrims visiting the Holy Alawi Shrine.
