Sayyid Eisa al-Khirsan, deputy custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Museum of the Holy Askari Shrine (peace be upon them both) in Samarra. The ceremony was held with the participation of a number of custodians of holy shrines, religious and cultural figures, and security commanders.
The inauguration included a tour of the museum’s various sections and an introduction to the valuable historical and heritage artifacts and items preserved there, which form part of the religious and civilizational heritage associated with the history of the Holy Askari Shrine (peace be upon them both).
The deputy custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine also performed the visitation (ziyarah) of the two Askari Imams (peace be upon them both) at their sacred shrine.
