This meeting was conducted as part of an initiative to collect and document the media archives of the late Ayatollah; archives that were systematically handed over to the Bahr al-Uloom Charitable Foundation and his honorable family.
The delegation included Dr. Mustafa al-Munni, a member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Alawi Shrine, and Haydar Rahim, the Head of the Media Department. During this visit, the complete collection of the visual archives was presented-a valuable collection reflecting the extensive scholarly activities of the late Bahr al-Uloom, including religious lectures, Husaini gatherings, meetings, conferences, as well as his presence in various festivals and programs held at the Holy Alawi Shrine.
Haydar Rahim emphasized that this action is a tribute to the scholarly and cultural services of the deceased. According to him, this archive is the result of years of media efforts that recorded his presence in various circles of the Holy Shrine and also includes programs and media coverage broadcast on the Holy Alawi Shrine’s satellite channel. This collection can provide a suitable platform for his family and researchers to document and publish his scholarly legacy in the form of various works such as books and documents.
Subsequently, Haydar Bahr al-Uloom, the director of the Bahr al-Uloom Charitable Foundation, expressed his gratitude for this initiative, stating:
“We are very grateful for the efforts of the Holy Alawi Shrine in preserving the scholarly and media heritage. This work demonstrates loyalty to the deceased and plays an important role in strengthening the documentation process.”
With its extensive archive of activities and works of prominent scholarly and intellectual figures, the Holy Alawi Shrine holds a special position in preserving cultural and religious heritage and consistently supports projects related to documentation and scholarly research.
