As part of reviving the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), the Holy Alawi Shrine’s mourning procession set forth to the holy city of Al-Kadhimain to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him).
The ceremonies saw the presence of a large number of Holy Alawi Shrine servants, exceeding 500 in count.
Salam al-Jubouri, coordinator of the procession from the Public Relations Department, told the shrine’s news center:
“This mourning procession was organized following prior coordination between the Holy Alawi Shrine’s Relations Department and its counterpart at the Holy Al-Kadhimain Shrine, to facilitate entry and meet the procession’s needs in a manner befitting this heart-wrenching occasion.”
He added:
“The Holy Alawi Shrine’s Transportation Department also provided over 25 buses to transport the mourners from Najaf Ashraf to the holy Al-Kadhimain.”
These initiatives reflect the Holy Alawi Shrine’s approach to reviving the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and manifesting expressions of loyalty.
