The Holy Alawi Shrine hosted the 13th annual conference of Hussaini Mawakib owners, organized by the Najaf Ashraf Religious Seminary with the participation of more than one thousand Hussaini Mawakib.
The conference, jointly supported by the Holy Alawi, Hussaini, Kazimi, and Abbasi Shrines, aimed to strengthen the promotional and service roles of Husseini Mawakib along the Arbaeen pilgrimage route.
Sayyid Ahmad Ashkuri, a seminary instructor, said in his speech at the conference:
“The spiritual aspect of serving Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) is the first and most fundamental pillar of Hussaini service. Serving the pilgrims is a divine honor and blessing not granted to everyone.”
He called on Mawakib owners to understand the greatness of this responsibility and reflect it in their service to the pilgrims and the promotion of Hussaini values.
The conference, held with the support of the Holy Alawi Shrine, was attended by a group of seminary professors and scholars as well as owners of Hussaini Mawakib from Najaf al-Ashraf Province and several other Iraqi provinces.
The aim of this gathering was to enhance coordination and cooperation among relevant institutions—especially the holy shrines—to raise the level of services provided to pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
