Imam Ali Holy Shrine Announces the Results of the First International Prophetic Competition

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has announced the results of the first International Prophetic Competition, an event that witnessed the participation of over three thousand contestants from nineteen countries around the world.

 

A Global Initiative Promoting Prophetic Teachings

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine stated that this competition was organized with the aim of promoting the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and enhancing awareness of his blessed life and character.
The event was held electronically and internationally, through the efforts of the Religious Propagation Unit, in collaboration with the Information Technology Center, Media Production and Broadcasting Unit, and the Shrine’s News Center.

Purpose and Vision of the Competition

In a statement to the News Center, Hani Al-Kinani, Head of the Religious Propagation Unit, explained:

“The Prophetic Competition is among the key cultural and educational initiatives of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine. It plays a vital role in enriching religious and moral awareness among all segments of society—particularly the youth.
Its primary goal is to introduce the sublime dimensions of the personality of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and to disseminate his pure and timeless teachings across the world.”

Broad Participation and Enthusiastic Response

Al-Kinani added:

“A total of 3,229 participants from various provinces of Iraq and other countries took part in this competition.
The overwhelming response reflects the deep affection and spiritual devotion that people hold toward the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family), and their eagerness to better understand his noble conduct.”

Participation from Nineteen Countries

According to Al-Kinani, contestants joined from nineteen countries, including Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Austria, India, Yemen, Iran, the United States, Pakistan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia, Palestine, and Jordan.
This diverse participation underscores the international scope of the initiative and its capacity to unite believers under the banner of prophetic wisdom and knowledge.

Continuing Cultural and Religious Engagement

The officials of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine emphasized that the competition will be held annually, focusing on various themes related to the Prophetic biography, the Holy Quran, and Islamic teachings.
They affirmed that the continuation of such programs aims to foster religious culture, strengthen prophetic awareness, and reinforce the spiritual bond between the Muslim Ummah and the noble example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
