According to the Central News Unit of the Holy Shrine, the Religious Affairs Department organized this cultural meeting with the participation of couples preparing for marriage and visitors eager to perform pilgrimage at the shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
Shaikh Karrar al-Khafaji, Head of the Religious Affairs Department, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“This session was held as part of the department’s programs aimed at establishing strong, healthy families based on sound religious principles. The title of the session, ‘Affection and Mercy,’ reflects its primary objective: to foster love, empathy, and a proper understanding of marital life among couples.”
Shaikh al-Khafaji further explained:
“The program covered key topics on the foundations of marital life, the shared responsibilities of husbands and wives, and the importance of adherence to ethical and moral values in creating a vibrant, stable, and harmonious society.”
The Imam Ali Holy Shrine continuously seeks to empower young people through increased religious awareness, thereby providing the foundation for successful families inspired by the teachings and exemplary lifestyle of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
