Imam Ali Holy Shrine Hosts Scientific Quranic Sessions

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine continues its efforts to promote Quranic culture through the implementation of Quranic sessions.

The Dar al-Quran, affiliated with the Shrine’s Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department, organized a scientific Quranic session on the topic “Charity in the Holy Quran” and the ways to balance the concepts of worship with societal needs. The session was attended by directors of several Quranic institutions in the Muthanna Governorate.

Muhammad Fakhr al-Din, a servant of the Holy Shrine, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:

“This program was held as part of Dar al-Quran’s efforts to promote Quranic awareness and authentic Islamic culture. In Muthanna Province, two scientific sessions were organized: the first at Imam al-Sadiq University (peace be upon him) on the Quran’s miracles, their conditions, and their role in affirming the prophets; the second at Dar al-Quran in the Al-Majd District on charity in the Quran, its obligatory and recommended forms, and its impact on individual and societal development.”

Nabil Al-Ziyadi, Director of Dar al-Quran in Al-Majd District, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in organizing this session and emphasized that participants benefited greatly from the scientific discussions and developmental programs presented. He also stressed the importance of continuing such activities, which contribute to raising Quranic awareness among all segments of society.

Dar al-Quran of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine continues to organize Quranic sessions across fourteen Iraqi provinces. Including Nineveh, Kirkuk, Basra, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Salah al-Din, Baghdad, Wasit, Diwaniya, and Muthanna, among others. These sessions are attended by scholars of Islamic seminaries and subject-matter experts, reflecting the Holy Shrine’s commitment to expanding Quranic knowledge and understanding throughout Iraq.
