These recommendations were conveyed in the address delivered by Shaikh Jafar Naini, the grandson of Allamah Naini (may his soul be sanctified), who expressed his deep appreciation to Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali al-Sistani for his unfailing support and close supervision at every stage of preparing and holding the conference.
Shaikh Jafar Naini emphasized:
“The Eminent Religious Authority (may his shade endure) instructed that this conference must be held in a manner befitting the stature and rank of this great scholar—particularly in view of the profound debt owed to him by the Muslim community. For Mirza Naini enriched the seminaries through his scholarly, intellectual, ethical, and spiritual endeavors, as well as through training eminent thinkers. Moreover, in resisting colonialism in Iraq and confronting oppression and despotism in Iran, he endured great hardship and sacrifice.”
It is worth noting that this conference was organized by the Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine in Najaf al-Ashraf, following the first session previously held in the holy city of Qom.
The closing ceremony of the current session is scheduled to take place with the third meeting, to be held in the sanctified precincts of the shrine of Imam al-Hussain (peace be upon him).
