Distribution of Thousands of Cake Portions to Pilgrims at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine

On the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), the Pilgrims’ Guesthouse of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine distributed hundreds of thousands of cake portions among visiting pilgrims.

Coinciding with the programs of “The Born Inside Kaaba” Week, the Pilgrims’ Guesthouse distributed more than a quarter of a million pieces of cake to honored pilgrims commemorating the auspicious anniversary of the birth of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Miqdad Al-Khirsan, Head of the Hospitality Section, said:

“As part of this program, a giant cake measuring one thousand meters in length was prepared. It is considered among the largest cakes produced for religious occasions and was arranged with the aim of fostering an atmosphere of joy and celebration among pilgrims during these blessed days.”

He added:

“The distribution process will continue for three consecutive days through multiple stations set up around the Holy Shrine, ensuring that hospitality services are delivered in an orderly and comprehensive manner to all pilgrims. This initiative is being carried out in cooperation with the supporting departments of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine.”

This program forms part of a broader series of service-oriented and celebratory activities organized by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in observance of the blessed birth anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), reflecting its continued commitment to serving pilgrims and promoting an atmosphere of joy and reverence on this auspicious occasion.
