Alawi Competition Draw Held by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine conducted the electronic draw for the Alawi Competition, with the participation of contestants from within Iraq and abroad.

The Department of Religious Outreach, affiliated with the Department of Religious Affairs at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, organized the electronic draw for the Alawi Competition, which had been launched during the week marking the birth anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), in the blessed month of Rajab. The competition witnessed wide participation and strong engagement from both local and international audiences.

In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Hani al-Kanani, Head of the Department of Religious Outreach, said:

“The competition consisted of 25 questions addressing key stages of the life of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), his eminent status and virtues, the proofs of his Imamate, and his pioneering role in defending Islam and consolidating its authentic principles and values.”

He added:

“The competition was organized in cooperation with the Information Technology Center and received remarkable participation, with more than 6,500 participants from over 21 countries. This reflects the high level of interest and social interaction with the purposeful programs of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine.”

It is worth noting that the organizers emphasized that this broad participation underscores the Imam Ali Holy Shrine’s commitment to employing modern electronic tools and methods in promoting the culture of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
