In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Shaikh Adel Al-Sudani of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine emphasized:
“This initiative stems from a profound sense of responsibility toward the heroes who stand firm on the frontlines of dignity and honor. It demonstrates the Shrine’s commitment to being present on the ground alongside them, strengthening resolve and elevating the morale of the fighters.”
He added:
“The greetings and salutations of the Custodianship of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine and its servants were also conveyed to the fighters, as an expression of appreciation for their sacrifices and efforts in safeguarding the nation’s borders.”
Mazen Sahib of Shrine’s Public Relations Department stated:
“The role of the Shrine, through its various departments—including Public Relations, Religious Affairs, Guidance, and services to Imam al-Hussain processions—manifests in supporting the ‘Support and Assistance Group’ and providing diverse forms of assistance to the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces. This support embodies a spirit of responsibility, national loyalty, and religious and humanitarian commitment.”
Mr. Aqeel Shukr, the official in charge of logistical support coordination in Najaf al-Ashraf, expressed his appreciation for the initiative and support of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine for the convoy. He commended the delivery of entrusted items and blessed gifts to the fighters at their deployment sites, describing it as an effective step in strengthening their spiritual morale.
The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has consistently stood alongside the defenders of the homeland in fulfilling their national and humanitarian duties—an enduring presence carried out within the framework of the Committee for Guidance and Mobilization in Defense of Iraq’s Sacred Sites.
