Imam Ali Holy Shrine Organizes a Specialized Training Program for Quran instructors

The Al-Alawi Holy Shrine has launched the third edition of its developmental program dedicated to teachers of the Holy Quran in Iraq.

According to the Central News Unit of the Al-Alawi Holy Shrine, the Dar al-Quran, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, organized the third edition of the national developmental program for Quranic teachers, with the participation of thirty Quran instructors from all provinces of Iraq.

Amir Kassar, Deputy Head of the Dar al-Quran, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:

“This program is held with the aim of enhancing the scientific and pedagogical competencies of Quranic teachers. It includes advanced instructional sessions based on the latest educational methodologies, along with training in contemporary topics related to the rules of tajwid and the sciences of the Holy Quran.”
He added: “Through a scientific and practical approach, the program seeks to raise the overall standard of Quranic instruction among educators.”

Dr. Ahmed al-Najafi, the course instructor, highlighted the academic content of the program, saying:

“The educational materials have been designed in a modern and simplified manner.” He further explained: “Today’s session was devoted to analytical tajwid, as this subject is directly connected to phonetic and morphological issues and plays an effective role in consolidating a practical understanding of tajwid rules among learners.”

Dhia Abbas, a participant from Wasit Governorate, praised the high standard of the program, describing it as distinctive, and remarked:

“This course has provided significant added value in the field of Quranic education, particularly in strengthening linguistic eloquence, precision in applying tajwid rules, and clarity of concepts.”

Abdul-Ala Al-Salihi, a participating instructor from Basra Governorate, also commended the educational content and curriculum, stating:

“The teaching methods employed were advanced and innovative. The use of modern technological tools provided by the Al-Alawi Holy Shrine played an important role in enriching the scientific quality of the course, especially in explaining the historical foundations and developmental stages of the science of tajwid, as well as in providing precise answers to participants’ questions.”

This program is part of a broader series of Quranic and academic initiatives undertaken by the Al-Alawi Holy Shrine, reflecting its dedicated commitment to enhancing educational competencies and strengthening the role of Quranic culture within society.
