The Holy Alawi Shrine Hosts Delegation from India

The Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin welcomed a distinguished delegation from India, comprised of winners of the “Born in the Kaaba” competition lottery. The Public Relations Department of the Shrine organized the visit. The Foreign Affairs and International Relations Unit within the Public Relations Department officially received the delegation, which included ten individuals selected through the lottery held during the celebration program marking the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), in India.

Official Reception

Muhannad Al-Jamali, Head of the Foreign Affairs and International Relations Unit, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“This Indian delegation consists of ten winners chosen through the lottery conducted during the birth celebration gathering of Amir al-Muninin (peace be upon him) in India.”

A Comprehensive Program

He added, “The Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin has prepared a comprehensive program for the delegation. It includes visiting and paying homage at the sacred shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), as well as pilgrimages to the shrines of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them) in Karbala, Baghdad, and Samarra. The program also features visits to sacred sites and holy shrines in Najaf.”

Strengthening Religious and Cultural Bonds

Al-Jamali further explained that the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin has covered all expenses related to the visit, including travel, accommodation, meals, transportation, and pilgrimage arrangements. This initiative comes as part of the shrine’s ongoing efforts to strengthen religious and cultural ties with pilgrims from around the world.

It is noteworthy that throughout the year, the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin hosts delegations and visitors from various nationalities and countries, reflecting its continued commitment to deepening the spiritual and human dimensions of the sacred shrines of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
