Coinciding with the arrival of the anniversary of the sacrilegious destruction of the sacred graves of the Al-Baqi’ Imams (peace be upon them), the courtyards and precincts of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) have been draped in black with the installation of mourning banners, as the sanctuary prepares to commemorate this solemn occasion.
