According to the organizers, the Training and Development Department, operating under the “al-Nathm” Center—a strategic unit for planning and development within the Alawi Holy Shrine—arranged the program in collaboration with the aforementioned security directorate. The course saw the participation of a number of security personnel, alongside custodians serving at the holy shrines of Imam Ali and Imam al-Askari(peace be upon them).
Workforce Development and Empowerment
Hasan Haydar, head of the Training Department at the “al-Nathm” Center, stated:
“This six‑day course comprises 28 hours of instruction and covers advanced modules in trainer preparation, based on modern pedagogical methodologies.”
He added:
“The participants include staff from one of the internal security formations, as well as a group of custodians from the Alawi and Askari holy shrines. This blend facilitates the exchange of experiences and the harmonization of educational concepts among the partnering institutions.”
Strengthening Educational Cooperation
Haydar noted that the program places special emphasis on enhancing instructional skills, leadership, and the management of training sessions, with the aim of producing competent trainers capable of developing and empowering human capital within their respective organizations.
He also highlighted that the course is conducted within the framework of existing cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding between the Alawi Holy Shrine and various educational institutions and centers. Its ultimate objective is to advance human resource development programs and broaden collaborative efforts in the fields of training and capacity‑building.
It is worth mentioning that the Alawi Holy Shrine continues to implement specialized educational and developmental programs, with the goal of nurturing human capital, raising competency levels, and improving institutional performance across its service, administrative, and security sectors—through ongoing training and the continuous exchange of expertise.
