The Holy Alawi Shrine has expanded its services with the aim of welcoming pilgrims coming to the sacred shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).
These services are being provided through the “al-Karrar” rest station along the Najaf–al-Manathirah route, near Pillar 99 in the southern part of the city of Najaf.
Ali Abd Zaid Kadhim told the Shrine’s News Center:
“The Holy Alawi Shrine has mobilized all of its capacities and efforts to provide the best possible services to pilgrims coming to the sacred shrine of Amir al-Muminin Ali (peace be upon him).”
He emphasized that this service center in the southern area continues to serve mourners marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet of Mercy.
He explained:
“These services include the distribution of three meals a day, including main and supplementary meals, as well as providing spaces for rest and overnight lodging, so that pilgrims have the facilities and comfort they need throughout the pilgrimage.”
He added that this center’s activities began on the tenth of the month of Safar and will continue until the conclusion of the ceremonies marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).
It is worth noting that these efforts are carried out as part of the Holy Alawi Shrine’s service program for pilgrims during the Arbaeen ceremonies and the commemoration of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
